Olive oil would definitely work, followed by soap & water.

I used Copper Bond Epoxy to redo my plumbing, including using my fingers to spread it around, and it came off easily with soap & water.

I am the OP of this almost 10 year old thread. And for those who are wondering, I seriously messed myself up with what I was doing. I absolutely cringe reading this niow.

Can you explain your thought process for trying to make your own casts?

You can't tell us your tried to make your own cast, then come back a decade later claiming to be the OP and then not tell the story.

I use Isopropyl Alcohol 91%, don't rinse just wipe with a towel. Then wash hands with soap and water.

I like how it wasn't addressed if the epoxy on his legs was ever an issue. Maybe the casts were permanent.
