It seems Kiplangat was actually able to make it. If Ebenyo is actually somewhat hurt, maybe this is for the best. Maybe this is even a wink-wink situation I don’t know. Instead of having to run at a lower % and maybe finish outside top 3, he can now get it through a good 5k performance with more time to get healthy/train. The other 2 female athletes I can’t say making it if they were there and especially now that they’re not.
