Neither of them ever accepted that they just lost and it wasn't their day when they were in their primes.

Part of the reason why the come up with excuses is that the media keep asking them why they lost.
Of course they have to come up with something to stop the endless questioning after their races.
I tend to believe Kipchoges excuses more than JI's.
EK is a parent, of course he doesn't sleep. At this point in his life it shouldn't matter too much

Hopefully people realize that kipchoge had absolutely nothing to do with Kiptums death. If you think kipchoge had to do with kiptums death then you may as well try to prove the earth is flat too and that the moon landing never happened.

Doesnt kipchoge only spend 1 night a week with his children? Rest of time he is in camp acting like a running monk?

Which is why he feared for their safety.
As far as I'm informed it's the first time EK is showing vulnerable, it makes him more normal and I feel really sorry for him. He's in a difficult position, like all super athletes.

And if they did that, you guys would come up with a reason to criticize anyway. For example you would claim they were hiding something.
