Just saw this guys running form. Heel striker to the max. When you get a dedicated heel striker running for years you get an adult who does 3 hour marathons and has a 5:20 mile.

Random but I ran the Brooklyn Half last weekend and I saw both Matt Choi at multiple points. He was approached nonstop by fans, people asking for pictures, etc. He was friendly enough but definitely has a pompous air about him. Like clockwork took his shirt off as he was entering the corral. I guess you could argue he's good for the sport, but it's a shame there are 'better' people for the sport like Chris Chavez who I also saw the Brooklyn Half and I didn't really see many people recognizing him.
Same as Elizabeth Clor, self-proclaimed running coach since her rich hubby self financed the publishing of her book (aka pamphlet). While good in one sense - encouraging others to train and compete - she has no pedigree that warrants giving training advice.
But unlike Choi, she keeps her shirt on.
