Didn’t Adam Goucher wreck his performance at a major meet by working too hard trying to keep up with some guys helping him put in a patio in the week before the race?

Hope you figure it out brother
Join the coast guard, police force or something. Military loves guys who can run. And you're going to learn how-to put-up shelves real f'n quick. If you want to continue running 16 miles a day and wondering why the world doesn't ''get you'' or respect you be my guest. Go down to your local recruiter and see what respect feels like when you walk in.

To make matters worse, the last time I visited, she got a handy man in to put up a shelf, and he mocked me for not being able to do it. I would of youtubed how if I had the energy. I just said that I am a runner and I need to focus on recovery between each run in order to be able to train for the stress that my body goes under.
What else would you of if had the energy? Would you of offed the handy man in rage?
What is wrong with you? No, you're not entitled to just rest and let others do chores and manual labor. If things have to get done, you do it even if you're tired. You couldn't muster the energy to put up a shelf after a run? Come on, I've done chores after 20 mile long runs. Life doesn't stop because you're tired.
Banana Bread, this is a great post, read it twice and it cracks me up. Love your humor. During my run today, I thought about what would happen if I took that attitude in my house. My family would kill me, ha ha.
