I'm certain this will happen. Ethiopia nearly always holds a 10k "trials" in Europe. I used quotation marks as I think it's only ever advisory, not first 3 across the line get picked, so selectors can still use some discretion.

I mean, it's not often you have a field with one truly great runner at that distance, then a bunch of others who rarely, if ever run it. But it's all relative, nothing is actually that "crazy" in distance running.

Haha! I'd love to get paid to write about UK distance running but hardly anyone does these days. Besides, I have a job I really like and which is a lot more stable than journalism. So, my only writing about running is on these boards.
Tbh, I'd do it for free in my spare time so if the Brojo's wants a UK correspondent they're free to hit me up. I go to most medium and big events in the south of the country, including the London DL, Night of the 10k PBs, etc.
