I was with you until the weird man-hating tangent you went on lol. Excited for Hiltz and Mackey, incredible performances. Hope both do well come outdoor, lots of 1500m competition incoming!
Wow, the US is gonna have a stacked 1500 Olympic Trials. St Pierre, Hiltz, Mackay, add in Wiley, Cranny, and the up-and-coming collegiates, and it is set to be a very competitive final.
Maybe more important than their placing, Nikki and Emily gained invaluable racing experience. That was a physical race! Both US runners responded well tactically. Athing is great, but she is losing opportunities to sharpen her racing chops! Excellent run!
See how hard it is even when well intentioned and an advocate? Now imagine having to do that while switching back and forth between athletes, during a race, while on live TV. You had all the time in the world to get it right and still didn't.

Her?
If the person making the point can't get it correct, how the hell do the rest of us stand a chance?

Athing Mu is fine in the 800, it's just the 1500 she needs more experience in. But her 1500 experience doesn't really matter, because Athing Mu isn't going for a 800/1500 in the 2024 Olympics like crazy Bobby Kersee said she could do.

Do you really think any of them can compete with ESP? I don't. I think she's clearly in a league of her own. The others will be running for 2nd & 3d.
And, when they get to Paris, only ESP will be near a medal. The rest will be cannon fodder.
After ESP, it's hard to see anyone besides Wiket medaling internationally in the next few years. And as we saw on Friday, Wiley's nowhere near ready for primetime.
Biological female who identifies as non-binary. Just to be clear for anyone who doesn't know, there is no unfair advantage here.
Running as the gender you identify as has nothing to do with fairness. That is why a biological male that identified as female should run with women. It is 100% ok any anyone that disagrees is a bigot. TF he only thing that matters is inclusivity.

Mu could if she was an idiot. Wiley someday but not now. Shelby, ESP and ? In 2025 will be crazy.
