Time to massively downgrade Nordas's chances in the summer as well.
A fast race allows him to run in the back and just sandbag it. Today you saw his weaknesses in turn of speed and tactics exposed. But if he’s able to basically do what Beamish did in a 3:28-3:30 race as opposed to a slow one, he is still formidable.
Nordas is fine. He logged some useful reps this wkend and is still well ahead of where he was this time last year. As for Hocker, I can't decide if he's more likely to medal in Paris or not make the US natl team at all.
Cole has improved some but he doesn’t put himself in position to win. And if or when he does put himself in position, he has blown his wad and cannot muster the requisite kick. Take notes folks.
Just like he didn't put himself into position to win USA indoors? 1/10
stop it.
The guy is correct.
Hocker is great in slow races. In the fast races he is always too far out of it. Its not impossible for him to change, but he better get at it.

He has some chance, albeit a small one.
A healthy Jakob will be tough to beat, as will Josh Kerr.
Throw in Nuguse and the other Brits and the Kenyans .....

Lame attempt to have a long living Letsrun thread. You actually do think he can win which is why you posted this.
Of course he has a chance. Just like Nuguse, it is great that Hocker chose to compete at World Indoors, came out with a medal and learned that if it's not a Jacob-speed race, then the most important thing is positioning. Seems Kessler already figured this out!

Probably the worst aged post ever.
The poster was discussing indoors though. Things can change.
