Literally every thread involving anything D2 automatically has like 10 posts saying d2 schools suck/ talking about salaries post grad. Honestly it’s gotten so exhausting and I hope we can finally get past these stupid comments.
Can’t people just appreciate d2 for what it is and not make unnecessary or irrelevant comparisons to d1 or d3?
I grew up outside of Denver and all my high school buddies ran in the RMAC. It used to be so fiercely competitive, shame to hear some teams are sitting out.
Granted back in the day Adams was a GIANT, everyone was trying to knock them off and they were holding on.
Only D2 guys would think that Mines guys are eggheads. The school would be average in D! but is viewed as smart when compared to D2 schools.

Colorado School of Mines grads are some of the highest paid graduates right out of school and for their whole career. Better than Duke, Georgetown, Brown, Dartmouth, UofChicago, Carnegie Mellon, Rice, Cornell, USC, UCLA, Notre Dame, and most all others too.
...and significantly more than whatever backwater school you went to
This. Young adults come out of Mines ready to contribute and enter the nearby Denver economy upon graduation. This isnt always true for other schools. I worked with a former female volleyball player a few years back (at a tech company) and was very impressed when learning she was only 23. Extremely well spoken, smart, could take stances on key issues and explain why to do things a certain way. This was her first job. She was excellent.
