really confused by the original post. "Light, short...." meaning visually pleasing and efficient looking, right? But then ".....short, choppy" sounds more like visually distressing and inefficient looking. So are you pro Luis/Reed, or bashing them? Fully aware the eye test has no bearing on actual efficiency and has been scientifically proven to have no bearing on a runner's efficiency when tested in a lab (see referenced studies by Ross Tucker)
