Jokes aside, your body needs its sleep/rest, all you’re doing by getting up unreasonably early is either robbing yourself of sleep or robbing yourself of a normal schedule.

If they think it’s spelled “tuff,” they lost long before you lapped them.
Hate is a strong word, but I never understood the athletes who are up at dawn and filmed saying "I know my opponent isn't up this early working out and that gives me an edge when we meet up." Can't the opponent just sleep in, get more rest and then do the same workout off of better recovery? And with professional athletes who can essentially set their own schedules, how is getting up @ zero dark-thirty an advantage? If you work out better super-early or are trying to acclimate to an early race start time, all good, but don't claim it gives you jedi powers over your competitors.
I hate people who brag about getting up early. You’re not tougher than someone else because you wake up early. Nobody cares.
What matters is what you do in your day and how much sleep you get.

People who brag about getting up really early are silly. The world doesn't stop turning at night. The ER doctor putting gangbangers back together at 3 AM is tough. The cop responding to a call by himself at 3 AM is tough. The uber driver who doesn't ignore calls from poor neighborhoods at 3 AM is tough.
If they're jumping into the back of a work truck at 5 AM for 12 hours of roofing in 110 degree heat, then okay. But men like that don't brag about how tough they are. Everyone can see it from a mile away.
agreed, those motivational youtube clips where people wake up at like 3am to train are well meant but at the same time you can only get fitter if you get enough sleep cause thats when the body repairs and adapts to training
as long as you consistently sleep for about 8 - 10hrs, you should be alright just make sure that you fall asleep by midnight most nights.
if those motivation ppl are actually getting enough sleep then they must be in bed by like 6pm or something
