Actually she ran faster in a road 10k Than Shalane Flanagan's Road 10k American Record.
Houlihan ran 30:47 but it did not count as an American Record and she was allowed to Run for some reason (I have no clue why?) that race in spite of the ban.

A better question is whether she will continue to use PED's after the ban is lifted. Can she handle running clean and posting mediocre times?

Like many pro runners it is all she knows at this point. She doesn't have a career or any other job, might as well do what she does best.
It is all she has done while banned after all.
My neighbor is one of the coaches at Iowa. I asked him about Shelby. He said that he has never seen her and doesn't think Shayla is coaching her. They are sisters. I doubt that she is prohibited from periodically seeing her sister and going for a run with her.

I mean what technically counts as coaching her? Like Shelby can just say she made up the workout and her sister held the stopwatch for her. Anyone can hold the stopwatch, not necessarily considered coaching.
And if her sister was making her training, if Shelby‘s not paying her, does it count as coaching? It’s similar to just finding a free training plan on the Internet.
I’m not saying I believe these things, but the coaching is very gray area and we saw that in the beginning when Bowerman was still coaching her before they got the final ruling.

She’ll definitely be good enough to make the 10K team. if she’s in shape, she’ll be under 30:20 with a pacer or in a championship.
Right now her only competition would be Alica, karissa and Elise. If all healthy and competing in the 10k for 2025. The only person I see possibly making the jump to sub 30:30 10K would be Kelati.
And at USAs, she can just sit on people and close with a hard. Like there’s no way a completely healthy Rogers and Henes, Kelati, and even Alicia and maybe Karissa are going to beat Houlihan for a spot on the team over the last mile of the USA 10k. Elise could give her a run for her money is she’s in sub-4 shape. Am I forgetting anyone?

Well you are assuming a lot about that cheater's current form. She hasn't posted a TT since quite a while, and who knows how her current training and current diet look like.
If she'll be in her 2020 shape, then sure, no one here will be stopping her. But five years later, at least formally without coach and without serious racing and with the AIU watching, I bet she'll be in worse shape.
She never left. She's got records to break when the ban is expired. There is no shame in her.
