If you have been watching Fogg then you know that his development has been gradual over time. The only bumps were his senior year at Drake when he got pneumonia during cross country season (he is a very good CC runner) and appendicitis during track season. Last year he showed a great deal of promise winning the Emsley Carr mile. Since college he has been training at altitude and has done a lot of mileage without setbacks. He has stated he wants to go to World Indoor, so we will see how he competes at British nationals. He is an excellent all around runner. At the Missouri Valley outdoor meet he won the 1500, 5,000, and 10,000 meters over a span of two days (with a 1500 heat thrown in). The Missouri Valley isn't a particularly good conference but he did have some competition (Antsy in the 1500, for instance). I see him as possibly an Adel Mechaal type of runner. He has very good range and is having consistent, professional training. He is a long shot but now a little less long. He will be able to get into A races now instead of B and C races.
