He is old and had injuries. Not a fair assessment.
Incorrect!!! Galen deteriorated too drastically, too quickly, too steep a gradient for a person or athlete of his status and achievement, including at the marathon. I'm portraying also a Galen Rupp healthy under Alberto Salaazar, with supershoes to boot (which he didn't have under Salaazar) to be at least 2:04:58 or faster or under the American marathon record of Ryan Hall's.
So it would be decline of around 2:04:30 to 2:14:07 in supershoes without PEDs? Championship tactical races does not account for such a great time disparity! He should be running 2:09:00 and winning the trials if his supershoe ceiling would have been 2:04:30 and also under Salaazar's PED program!

You are quite frankly a know-nothing. The man had double surgery on his Achilles and ankle a few days after the 2018 Chicago marathon. He came back from that to win the trials, get 8th in Tokyo, and run another 2:06 at the 2021 Chicago marathon. Father Time spares no one. Baseless allegations about PEDs, which were disproven during the USADA investigation, are a crutch for the dumb.
The allegations were neither baseless, nor were they ever disproven. There was just not enough evidence for a conviction, yet: there's still hoping that they'll retest his old samples with better methods.

Yes, of course Galen is guilty by association with Salazar for doping violations that don’t involve banned substances yet Grant Fisher, who was teammates of Shelby Houlihan and coached by Jerry “I’ve never even heard of nandrolone” Schumacher, is not. Only on letsrun.com where the basic rules of factual record and logical framework do not apply.
Galen ran 26:44/12:58 before super shoes. He medaled in an Olympic marathon. You guys are dumb.

Yeah, he ran fast and some people believe that breaking anti-doping rules contributed to that. Nothing will ever change that given the associations.
But obviously age is a huge factor in his decline.
Look, dear Jack Frost, I'm putting my weight behind the thread starter and poster and so should you. Let's bring down this whole Rupp obsession once and for all okay?? I'm only stopping short of getting you to sign a petition to shame Rupp!
I could see Rupp making another run in 2028 if Nike wants to keep paying him and he puts together four years of mostly injury free uninterrupted training.
His training hasn't been fluid for a few years now. Theoretically, he could build off of this cycle and comeback strong.
Not really sure what his level of interest is to keep going, and I'm not sure what Nike's threshold is to keeping paying him while he's not really performing well, and it's possible he may not perform exceptionally well again.

Al is that you? What has Rupp done since you were gone? Give me something he did since you were gone? Kara also had facts about all the Peds Rupp was on. This isn't with fact.

Incorrect, the basic rules of factual record and logical framework only apply to the extent of a case-by-case basis!!! You need to be a Sherlock Holmes in a sense know how to prioritize which order of events of space and time for which case and which potential doper and their circumstances!!
Let me be very delicate and elegant in my logical deduction ability okay???
First you are comparing Galen to his coach Alberto, but yet you aren't comparing Grant to his coach Jerry but rather comparing Grant to his team-mate Shelby!!! That's unfair and prone to logical and deductive errors!!!
Next you compare Galen a man to Alberto also a man, but you comparing Grant a man to a Shelby a woman!!! That's also prone to logical and deductive errors!!! Men and women are clearly and highly demarcated in training teams and programs the same way the men and women do not enter each other's changing rooms!!!
It's therefore very likely and obvious that Shelby took nandrolone or got this drug in her blood out of her own mistake or freewill independent of any provocation from Jerry or Grant or otherwise!!!
Thank you! (P.S I'm the master of reason and persuasion, logical deduction, and also electromagnetic field theory which hones all reasoning and deductive ability ultimately)

It is also wrong that Salazar's doping violations "don’t involve banned substances"; testosterone was banned and was involved.
Go read the actual report and what it states about Alberto’s testosterone use, and what USADA noted generally about his care to not intentionally break any rules, because you are insinuating something the record does not support
The record is that they couldn’t prove the testosterone was misused on his athletes, not that they proved the absence of misuse. I trust you understand the difference.
