I think outliner is makeup, maybe you mean outlier. *sigh..
Yes madam, that is correct :)
P.S: The name frazzle is also funny.
You needn’t worry, lexel. Ms. Frazzle needs to check her sentence structure. Two sentence fragments linked by a comma does not make her sentence even remotely correct. It’s always the ones that point out problems that have the most to worry about.
I am giving him many opportunities for him to show me something to take seriously. I do this for most all the posters who post things without providing sufficient support.
You were typing out essays to the most obvious troll in existence. You do realize he doesn't believe the things he types, right? You do realize that you put effort and time into analyzing something that a 10 year old could recognize as a joke? You do realize that you were doing the equivalent of talking to a chat bot? Might as well talk to a rock. I'd say you lost any credibility that you had, but you know...
My posts weren't all that long, especially compared to his responses. I found his posts creative and entertaining.
But enough about me ... this thread is not about me and Khamis.
For God's sake man. I told Khamis I was printing off pages and having people bring them to me to protect from his EMF RMF BS and he went along with it. I can't believe you're a degreed engineer. The gullibility.
(Sorry -- 1 more post to respond to this.)
As a student of the scientific method, I don't "gullibly" believe much of what anyone says here, that isn't supported by facts, evidence, and observations.
Well, there are at least eight chemists/dispensaries in Iten, according to google maps (little places like those shown in the article must be very numerous), so there's surely plenty of business to be had still, and of course if they really crack down on all of those in the area, runners will just move to other medium altitude villages and towns.
You spent how many posts talking with that troll? It's now clear you are one as well. At least Khamis is funny.
I had to laugh at the various deletions on page 1 here. Apparently letsrun is protecting one of their favorite trolls again, but let his troll posts stand of course.
Lots of black downward pointing arrows. Even on Letsrun your level of malarky is high. Well done!
I would say "Only on letsrun ..." rather than "Even on Letsrun ...".
There doesn't seem to be that much popular interest in discussing the main topic of the thread.
I always thought that the arrows are important to those who are seeking to belong. I don't often look at the arrows, or take any stock in them. I have long known that my constant challenging of strongly held beliefs with tenuous historical factual support is not popular among those who mistake their beliefs for knowledge, simply because the beliefs are popular and repeated often.
But it is telling that all those downvoting me and upvoting Coevett's original post are not all that concerned that apparently Coevett imagined the "athlete caught taking EPO" and then imagined "every pharmacy in iten was doing this five or 10 years ago". It is the "telephone game" (aka as "Chinese whispers") in action, which partly explains the evolution of the belief in the power of doping, even in distance running events.
To come back to the original post, I would agree that it is good news that Kenyan anti-doping is trying to attack the sources of doping. We have known from several WADA-funded reports, as far back as 2014, that local chemists are a significant source of the banned substances. For me the most notable thing is, not that the chemists are being busted, but that it has taken this long to start attacking the chains of distribution.
