I definitely want the last second WWE entrance: "bah gawd! That's Paul Chelimo's music!" as he pushes Rupp and Fauble to the floor on his way to the start line

Paul MF Chelimo!
It would be interesting if he runs. His ambiguous reply to WeJo was kind of a jerk move.
well if he did it would be funny wrote:
He should just go for it, hit the half in like 63 and try to hang on.
He has the best track speed of anyone in the race, so for sure he runs with the lead pack.

I kind of think that means he's inclined to run unless he feels a tweak or something.
Paul Chelimo is an unpredictable gamer that normally adds additional entertainment and interest to any race he runs.
He has done things like going out hard and trying to run away from everyone in the first lap. He has tries to push through tiny gaps, drifts wide, or dives at the finish. He will lead mid race to keep the pace honest.
His answer may have also been part of the game.
Sometimes the game works out for him, sometimes not, but you have to give him an "A" for effort.
I would love to see him run the trials and be in the lead pack. Go hard as long as he can so he doesn't suffer for the rest of his life wondering what if.
Who gives a Fu$$
Smoothest stride in the game.

The Olympic 5000m silver medallist is on the start list.
When we reached out to him he had this cryptic response:
In case the image doesn't show:
Hello Jonathan,
Indeed my name is on the starting list but that doesn't mean that I will have my foot on the line... it only means that at the time I speak to you, there is a possibility that I will be present this day... Or maybe not
🤔We talked about it on the podcast.
Personally, I would LOVE to see him run. Makes the men's race even more interesting.

Sounds like you got your answer: maybe he’ll run it, maybe not. So what are you asking us, exactly?
who actually cares ?
