We deported 2.3m people from 2021-May 2023 when the title 42 shenanigans were terminated. Note, Biden willingly continued the pandemic title 42 policies until May 2023 when it finally became untenable. It was always a thinly veiled scam to be fair. Conservatives were shouting from the rooftops that covid could be ignored, no masks, no vax etc and at the same time claiming there was a public health emergency warranting expelling most asylum seekers on public health grounds.
