First goal is always to stay healthy and be out there as much as possible. I was an athlete growing up (not a runner though) but became an alcoholic & food addict and eventually got up to 400 lbs in my early to mid 30s. Got sober a few years back, lost a lot of weight and I’ve run 4 marathons now… first was 4:26 two years ago and most recent was 3:24 this fall. I want to break 3:10 this year which is the Boston standard as a 40 year old dude. A huge added bonus would be to finish close to 3 and actually make the cutoff and qualify. In week 3 currently of Pfitz 18/70 for Carmel, IN in April. Good luck to everyone next year.
