USATF Club Cross Country Championships 2023 Live, Schedule & TV Details Info

It was way too hot today to run fast. Too bad.

We're 8 weeks out from the Trials. Many in the middle of a marathon training block.

With the 2026 World XC (in Fla) being run on Jan 10th (announced by World Athletics yesterday) will the club champs become the USATF Champs and the World qualifier?

Slight regret at missing, but the moment I heard that this year's clubs would be back in Tallahassee I was pretty ehh and ulitmately decided not to go. If it had been in Lexington or at Lehigh I probably would have gone. What is with FL getting all the bids now?

Next year in Tacoma according to unconfirmed reports.

Super humid and hot = slower race. no one ran a fast time

I turned 40 the first year the race was in Tallahassee, and had a rough race. Last year I doubled down and was part of the San Fran debacle.

Those two experiences together kept me from booking my ticket. I'm sure I wasn't alone.

I watched the Master's Races. I want to complement the coverage:

Split screens to show the leaders and the pack as they passed certain points of the course.

Constant up dated live results. The mentioned names- leaders of the race, age group leaders, etc

The guy even knew about the Jamul Toads!!! Man that brought back memories.

At the finish- They kept the camera on the finish line as people crossed, with the clock in view!!!

I'm wondering also. Maybe results messed-up and not corrected yet? Someone that I know that raced, is not listed in the results at all. I confirmed that they ran.

I believe 2026 World XC isn't just (in Fla) but (on the same course in Fla).

Course was really soft and wet in places. Temperature 61 at 9 but 77 by 11. Definitely ran slow

Flight are cheap into tallahassee especially if were on the fence and waited

Tallahassee is a terrible place to get to by air. Kudos to USATF for picking a spot less convenient than Eugene!

Tacoma would be OK, but I think it should be in Portland next. They have a pretty active local club XC circuit up there. And they have a bunch of interesting courses. I'll probably go if it's West of the Mississippi. Don't really want to travel across the country for a 40 minute or so race.

Like the Hansons runners and the NAZ runners who ran Cross Champs a couple weeks ago?

Please no to ever putting it in PDX, that would be a major turnoff just for the expense, if not for general disappointment in the city.

He wasn't DQ'd. There was a screw up on race number issuance that sowed him removed from electronic results. He won the 70-74s.

Hansons ran at both meets.

NAZ will probably never run in this Meet again like OAC and Bowerman because the silly rules don’t let them compete.
