His actual 3 mile times are way slower cuz his only 2 sub 17 XC races were short courses anyway (cerritos and south bay) and his fitness was prob closer to his other XC times on milesplit which are like high 17 mins and 18
His 4:50 2:13 and 10:22 prove he has potential but hes running on his own right now and not with our team because he says hes training for track
maybe hes gonna come back to the team next year for XCbut i dont know for sure and he hasn't been doing any track workouts on strava just easy and recovery runs

then stop overhyping teams that only have 3 fast runners for next year. This won't be the next 'crazy' team.
Great Oak, Jesuit CA, Buchanan, and ML King each have at least 5 runners better than Palisades’s 4th man. So those 4 teams have a better chance to go to NXN than Palisades does
Palisades Charter "the team that advertised themselves as the new crazy california team" placed 33rd in the woodbridge sweepstakes race. Almost dead Last.
I am starting to think that the only reason why they did so well at the California state meet, is because they are from the LA section. They got to save the serious racing until the very end. No other good team had that luxury.
Y'all do remember McGarland? used to be the bomb in California back in the day. Matilda Torres is the new school in Madera same area basically , hello.
Also, top 2 guys on Matilda Torres are juniors who were top 3 on the team since freshman year.
Matilda Torres brings 5 varsity guys back next year when they look to be even better.
Mira Costa, Matilda Torres, and maybe Jesuit are among the top teams in California and will all be bringing most of their guys back next year. The California boys teams got beat badly at Woodbridge this year, but next year they should do better there and be ranked higher nationally
