Interesting. So last night with my girlfriend doesn't count?

I hope Democrats campaign on this along with their other woke BS. "Let males dominate female sport, the economy is great (don't believe your eyes), and cities are as safe as ever!"
Should this be subject matter for 2024 Presidential Election debate?

Your mom doesn't count
That thing will be governor
Q. What does a kid know that a libby can't answer (in public)?
A. What's a female?
Why do some of you think that liberals support biological males running in girl's races? I'm a liberal and I'm as offended as anyone else about males competing in girl's races. Why do some of you think that liberals support the criminals that loot stores? It's not true. Where do you get these false ideas?

Yes, and not all conservatives are nutjobs either, as evidenced by the recent votes in Kansas and Ohio firmly supporting a woman's right to an abortion, among other things. Yet it is the fringe element of both sides that get the most press and do the most trolling, as can be clearly seen on this site.
There are many downvotes here with regard to MTF running in girl's meets. The main reason is that it is presumed by many of us that the normative basis for girls and boys sports is the physiological difference between girls and boys.
This normative standard excludes trans gender in women's sports, unless they meet some physiological standards, specified in some way. The pro trans arguments don't seem to specify these standards, particularly for kids too young to take hormones (even puberty blockers are now being called into question).
Opponents of the mainstream normative view need to explain why this normative basis is faulty.
Some may argue that the separation merely exists as a practice and this makes one question how this practice evolved. I don't hear many arguments about how this dichotomy developed soley as a societal practice and this may be a very hard argument to make.

Maybe because Chicago BLM has stated that "looting is reparations"?

Your 2nd paragraph doesn’t make much sense. At the HS level, some states have banned transgender athletes but for those that haven’t, there are no physiological standards.
There is no such thing as a mainstream normative view and polls indicate a majority is opposed to transgender athletes competing against women, anyway. Transgender athletes being allowed to compete evolved from the Renee Richards court case decades ago, and not from societal practice.
If ya got a rod your a dude. End of thread.

There are at least several states that require some medical standards, including DE, IL, MI, NE, VA and WI. There used to be more of them, but those states have moved to total bans.
As for the "normative standards" the majority of Americans consider gender transition morally unacceptable. So it really does not matter whether they play sports or not. The only place trans people belong to is deep in the closet, according to the majority.
What is the basis for boys and girls sports? Just because it is physical differences that are the common reason for separation, doesnt' make it right, although to many it seems obvious. Maybe you have a better explanation? Please explain.
You need to be a little more specific than evolved. Why are men and women's sports separate?

What polls show majority moral unacceptability? Are you implying that specifically for surgical transition? How can that be squared with the following numbers from a year back?
- 64% of Americans think trans should be protected from “discrimination in jobs, housing and public spaces”;
- 38% think gender can be different from sex assigned at birth while 60% think not;
- people are about evenly divided on whether society has gone too far or not gone far enough on accepting trans;
- only 46% think it should be illegal to provide medical care for gender transition (so 54% don’t think it should be illegal);
- 58% think trans athletes should compete with the sex they were assigned at birth (so 42% don’t necessarily think so).
Did Lorelei Barrett compete in XC at all or did she disappear after outdoor?
(My thoughts- while trans people should have their pronouns, the harsh biological reality is the Y chromosome affects much more than just testosterone levels when it comes to running- everything from bone structure to lung size to VO2 max to the number of red blood cells. Not all of it can be reversed with estrogen supplements, and trans men cannot catch up tro Y chronosomed cis men perfectly with T. Therefore, there should be more divisions added for trans and nonbinary folks... or we can just change the names of the categories from gendered terms to XX and XY, references to the biological chromosomes. While in an ideal world E for trans girls and T for trans boys will eradicate the differences dictated bty XX versus XY, this is not an ideal world.
Can you imagine being an adult that is willing to talk crap about a 15-17 year old due to participation in a high school sport where absolutely no money is involved and frankly nobody outside of LetsRun follows or cares about?
what would it take for you to attack a person you don’t know who is half or a third of your age and still maturing? Think about it.
The person who took the video is trash, the person who started this thread is trash.

Barrett competed in the boys' division.
