A few things I haven't seen mentioned.

1) They should release information on Max's salary going forward now. This is a non profit and there is no reason that this info can not be conveyed in advance because his compensation will be released via the tax forms. Max and everyone at USATF is working for the members.

2) USATF should release the findings that the independent compensation committee found. Was Max's bonus in the past reasonable?

3) Possible good news: It says Max has expanded the USATF budget to $40 million. The last year of Tax forms 2021, shows $33 million. So hopefully revenue is way up.

Otherwise financially it looks like Max has done very little recently for the financial growth of USATF as revenue was down from 2016 vs 2021. Hopefully that was a Covid artifact but there was no growth in revenue pre-covid from 2016-2019.

4) USATF should release the projected revenue for the Nike contract going forward. The main thing Max has done from an outside perspective is sign the Nike deal (which was not put out for bid). It put USATF on much better financial footing but a lot of questions remain. Should this have been put out for bid? Do we think he got the best of Nike? And is this contract adjusted for inflation? It would be nice to know this and I don't think it unreasonable for the members to know this. At the very least the Board should know it.

With a home Olympics and inflation it is entirely possible someone would have paid even more for the USATF sponsorship. What will USATF be getting in 2040 from the deal?

This is not true at all. There are literally hundreds of people (mostly unpaid) that actually make usatf a functioning entity and Max isn't one of them.

You could bring every single paying member to the convention and they would have zero impact on leadership changes.

The only way to make changes would be to buy out all of the contracts at a huge premium and try to force retire them all. They are all in bed with each other and milking the membership dry. Max is the head of the snake and a terrible representative of USATF.

Cooking the books with a few winks and nods is exactly why USATF has a 3.8 million dollar albatross on its neck. Fools never learn.

USATF have little or no part to play in the outcomes.

Now the letter sent to the LOC in Orlando makes sense. Will is drinking the Kool-Aid that Max is serving. Will believed what Max told him and ignorantly lashed out at the Orlando people. Luckily Jon Hughes put the correct spin on things.

Dolf Berle, the CEO of Top Golf, is now on the Board and apparently they did some study on his salary. Thy need to release the report. At the very least my hope is going forward his salary is more in line with what should be expected for a company with 40 million in revenue. In the past it seems like he was grossly overpaid for no bidding the Nike deal, but maybe the report could prove me wrong.

CEOs will not criticize other CEOs salary other than it might be too low. You are very mistaken if that Dolf Berle guy will do something about Max Siegel.

Wow, Max Siegel had absolutely nothing to do with the Nike Contract, he was an independent board member when the deal was signed not the CEO. This is a fact, ask him. Steve Miller the former Board of Directors Chairman for USATF stated this clearly in an article written by the Washington Post, that Max had absolutely nothing to do with the Nike Contract. When do we find out that there is a $2.5- $3.0 million dollar resigning bonus for this extended time, I'd bet on it.
