The top Americans have enjoyed that phrase lately.
First we had Scott Foster talking about being in "2:07 shape" at Berlin only to DNF.
Then Emma Bates' "I firmly believe I am in 2:18-2:19 shape" before getting injured and limping in to a 2:25 at Chicago.
Now CJ is "capable" of running faster, but didn't.
Maybe they can each run their races and let the results speak for themselves?
