So what are the pros and cons of running at ND? I assume I’ll be sub 9 this year; I already took the SAT and got a score that I’ll be submitting everywhere.

Nd has great academics and athletics but southbed sucks, the weather is horrible and if you are not into the “game day culture” of parties/tailgates and such there is no reason to go there because that is the reason most people go there… because it has good academics, good sports and great party scene… if you don’t care about the party scene there are tons of great academic schools with good athletes.

I was pleased with good academics and other good things when I was there. Was the party scene nonexistent? No. Did I enjoy my social life there? Sure.

But "great party scene"? Wow. Things must have changed a lot, because when I was there the party scene was substantially below what I heard about on other campuses (and I was totally fine with that, for what it's worth).
