You can’t draw any meaningful conclusions about professional runners by observing some teammates at your high school. The groups are too different.
Your teammates aren’t even representative of all high school runners. I guarantee you there is a much different dynamic at the schools whose teams qualify for cross country nationals.
I don't think most here dispute that there are plenty of Ethiopians with good running genes. However, you would have to be incredibly naive to think there isn't a doping problem at the highest levels.
When Federations do (or control) their own testing, doesn't that allow for foxes in the chicken coop?

I’m a female Ethiopian teen who is a junior is high school and I started running as a freshmen. My first mile was a 6:40 then I improved it and now it’s 4:50 My 1500 meter is 4:39 tho. my 5k time is better than my mile

2 mile time = 10:30
I win my meets by a minute ahead usually, I also made a couple of state titles before. I’m the top of my team too. My whole team respects me and I respect them. For you to say that Ethiopians are this good because we must be “doping” pisses me off. I worked my ass off to get to where I am right now. While my teammates where messing their long runs, I was out training my heart out up in the mountains. While my teammates are messing around walking during practice, I was out working hard. That’s why I’m good at running. So stop with all the conspiracies cuz it’s fake. My mom and dad also are runners. But not as much now but my dad, in his prime, ran a 13:28 5k and my mom ran a 16:30 5k. My brother is a soccer player but his time is 15:57 for 5k when I forced him to do an 5k race with me. My family, they are amazing people, they wouldn’t even dream of doing such things. Accept that we work harder than you, all my family members are hard workers. I have white friends who complain about sucking but they didnt put nearly as much effort as me. And guess what ? They started faster. I know a girl who started with a 6:10 minute mile and I was 6:40 she was 30 seconds faster than me. Now she is still around the same pace but I improved and the difference between me and her isn’t talent or cheating. It’s the fact that she never works hard. All she does is just complain then mess around during long runs. She also says she hates running yet still does it every year. She also begs me to slow down during runs for her. As a sophomore, I slowed down for her but my coach made me run with guys that season because they’re the only one that could keep my pace.
The girls team sucks in my high school. We have 6 girls and all run their 5ks at 24 minute flat, only one freshmen has a chance of breaking 20. They cost us a ton of points to. But to say that all this is because we are cheating is absurd. Look at what you are doing wrong before blaming people out of jealousy.
So are you currently in the US - you said you were born in the US and raised there, so are you now running in their high school system?
People are right to be suspicious of Ethiopians coming up through the Ethiopian system when there are 17 year-olds running 3:56 and 18-year olds running 14:16.

OP: You are possible clean like others are clean. However, someone has to tell you that doping is everywere in all countries. Even hobby jogger do it. Especially endurance sport like cycling, swimming, running, cross-country skiing and other sports are vulnerable to doping. Why? Because athlets get to their pysiological limit at some point in training and do not continue to improve. Pressure is there, success is missing, sport existence is in danger ...

You're not doping YET. They can't afford to fund a doping program for all teens. If you get anywhere near world-class potential, they'll get you started on the regimen.
I checked the road and only one american man has a PR of 13:28 for the road 5km and he's either italian or hispanic, while on the track there's only one clearly ethiopian name with a PR of 13:28 (Girma Mecheso). He is 33 years old which makes this story very unlikely.
Most Ethiopians don’t do road races. My parents were born and raised in Ethiopia. And ran competitively for a while. I’m not talking about their road race score cuz they’ve never done it. What’s your point
Keep up the good work! You have a great point! The claim that Ethiopians ( East Africans) are fast because they dope is just a scapegoat by those who are lazy and don't want to put in the work. East Africans live in training camps, 100s of miles away from their families and train 3 times a day. They do not have modern electronic devices like TV, video games. So they only train, eat and sleep doing 120 to 150 miles a week and sometimes more. They do this for at least 9 months a year. Compare with someone training once or twice a day and who lives with their family ( distractions) and probably runs 70 to 100 miles a week. The first group will always win. Doping is a world wide thing and in fact more rampant here in the USA in the sprints, jumps and other sports like cycling. We should there call out the dopers by names instead of accusing an entire country.

Not bad but some dead giveaways. You are better at 5000m, you claim, but actually you are not. Your mile and 2 mile are superior to your 5000m. Now we could say the 5000m is cross country and then it could make more sense. Your trolling should improve though with more efforts.

It may exist but it’s not close to being close to America. I went there before. No one even knows that doping is there, even if it existed it’s likely very expensive. No one would do it .
