Rumor has it that Gjert was trying to make Jakob's dogs run track intervals, have them identify as human athletes through a species change operation and change them legally to humans.
He was breaking into Jakob's house at night to bring out the dogs and make them do the intervals. When Jakob found out he was furious and that is supposedly the source of all the conflict in the family.
Henrik was the nicest of the brothers, by far, on their reality show, but he went through a lot of injuries and surgeries. Yet, he still would pull off pr's with a few months of semi-healthy training and maybe a couple interval sessions, as long as 11 years after making the 2012 Olympic final.
if gjert really did something so horrible, it is time to come out and say it. this gone beyond a family issue now with the involvement of narve, the federation, and all the people henrik has told to stay away from him

My guess is when Gjert started coaching Nordas, a rift developed between Henrik and Gjert. That percolated to the other brothers. Now Gjert has been blacklisted from everything... weddings, official accreditation, etc.. It didn't help that Nordas started chirping in interviews in a manner that could have upset the brothers.
It's a shame as Gjert was the mastermind behind his sons' successes from such a young age yet he is treated like dirt now. It was because of Gjert's strict style of coaching these 3 brothers found success at that level. Let's be honest, without Gjert's coaching there would be no Jakob as we know today. No way.

You are right that Gjert is largely responsible for Jakob's success. However, as for the rift, I think it has to be something other than just coaching Nordas.
I may have missed the episode, but I don't recall the brothers ever praising their dad's approach and controlling nature, yet on many occasions they voiced their displeasure with it. Even though they had success, it never seemed like they were happy with the way Gjert treated them.
Leo young not racing is strange unless he’s injured. He didn’t run that great at the Virginia invite (yes he was the number 2 scorer but wasn’t wowing anyone). Why not give him more experience?

I agree. Poor Gjert! He's been treated terribly by his own family and - now - the Federation. If this is a 'family feud' as Henrik indicates, then they have zero right to extend it to getting him barred as a coach or anything. That is a very public move! So, either spit it out (whatever he's alleged to have done, and show some evidence please), or STOP getting him publicly barred and smearing his name. It is very spiteful and nasty, especially coming from sons who he loved, took care of and made in to the success stories that they are. Appalling behavior.
From a source close to the Norway federation it was found that Narve was in a romantic relationship with gjert daughter ingrid that ended in a bad manner this seemed to bother the ingabristen family resulting them to create tension between the brothers and Narve. This is why Narve had such a stellar performance at the World Championship 1500 he was looking to get back at the brothers. According to my calculations within the next few months they will all squash the beef and begin running threshold together 🦁🏥

During the January training camp in Sierra Nevada Henrik demanded that his teammate Narve Gilje Nordås sit at a different table. Then later stopped Jakob from shaking hands with Narve at Bislett.
Not in article: he's also instructed other Norwegian runners not to train with or talk to Narve.
He is jealous that his time is up, and he was never really that great. Let's be real he is the slowest of the brothers and is a has been. He is obviously envious of Gilje and doesn't know how to handle the fact that if anyone shouldn't be in the training group it is him because he is no longer elite. Also, outside of running Henrik is nothing the only reason he gets into any world class meets is because of Jakob and if Jakob wasn't as good as he is Henrik would be in the stands.

Going around rumor-mongering and gossiping to that effect is sleazy. Doesn't make anyone look bad but those doing it.
Hmm...if the rumours are true about Gjert Salazar then to be honest it reflects badly on Nordas Rupp for not having the moral initiative to stop training with him. Like, well done you got some good times but if it's because you shamelessly worked with someone who allegedly ******* his own ******** then you can't be surprised that you get former team mates turning against you.
Narve isn't innocent in this, he is an adult knowing perfectly well he is wading into a massive powderkeg of family drama. He can cry over his medal.
Narve has publicly stated many times that Gjert is a good man who has done nothing wrong. Unless Henrik et al have something on daddy (the dad that gave them absolutely everything they have), they need to stop smearing his name publicly and preventing him from getting coaching accreditation and passes. It would be very different if Gjert had actual criminal charges leveled against him and was found guilty. However, he has not. The Inges can’t have it both ways - if it’s personal, keep it personal. By making it public and not going after dad and his athletes, they’re making it a very public thing.
