Because she's an Olympic medalist who has gone through hell and back over the last 3 years with a multitude of struggles and now she's just pr'd and is looking like a serious contender for our next Olympic marathon squad. What are your chances of making it?
The standard of "fast" went from 2:17 to 2:13 literally overnight. You may have been able to absorb the new world order in 2 weeks time but Molly was probably tapering. I'm not putting that on her shoulders. Happy she's healthy enough to run high volume as she prefers.

I get why the pros stay away from LRC...even though it is a truly free environment to say things, there are somethings better left unsaid. Go Molly! The above comment nailed it.

Aaaaand if she had gotten that time, you would have complained her progression was too fast and she was doping. Why do you have to be so negative? She got a PR, recovered and got what she came for.
