If you truly knew T&F, you would know physiologists evaluate track talent by 200m dash. Since I don't have Steve Hoag's 200m dash and I don't have T Assefa's 200m dash, we will evaluate on the next best event, 400m dash.

The idea of you 'rekrunnering' with a gun to your head is pretty funny though.
The question is just asking you what your opinion is while being agenda free and completely honest, nobody is getting a gun to their head.
I'm getting similar funny ideas about the followers of doping/performance mythology with guns to their heads answering "Hallelujah, I believe in magic potions -- don't shoot me!".
The question keeps morphing -- despite the subject line description, now there is no gun, and I don't have to give the "right" answer, or a simple "yes/no", but just my honest, agenda free, opinion.
Well you are in luck. Every post I make is my completely honest opinion without any agenda, overt or hidden, outside of science and the scientific process/method.
Of course, there is always a small chance that any athete is doping regardless of performance. Otherwise, I have no reason to opine that any women's performance faster than Jeptoo or Shobukhova is doped.
But again, the only correct answer is "no one knows", outside of Assefa and/or her coach and maybe some inner circle.
Actually I am a big fan of Assefa. She said to hell with the low profile and just went for it. By the time they catch her she will have all the money she needs.

What answer would you give? I think all these people saying she's clean, could just be the shoes, etc. Might have a change of heart if their life was on the line

Please, I ran 55 as a 15yo. Never set any world records in the marathon. You can find someone like this on many high school teams. It is totally irrelevant.

The initial post wasn't complicated, but you choose to make it that way because you 'rekrunner' things in order to 'win' the argument.
The person with gun knows whether this runner cheated or not yep, that's the game. It's a hypothetical question and the answer is yes or no - 'nobody knows' is not an answer.
If your life depended on it, you'd be an idiot to go with 'no' in this circumstance, and you wouldn't. You would say yes every single time.
Why would someone hold a gun to your head and force you to answer a question you literally have no way of knowing the answer to? The only correct answer is 'probably,' just because the performance is so otherworldly, but unless you are a piss tester or personally witnessed the drug use, you would not have any way of knowing definitively. You'd just be guessing, and the guy with the gun knows this. Does the gunman already know the answer? If not, how could he shoot you for a wrong answer? If so, then why the f is he asking you? I realize I am taking this too seriously, but it just makes no sense. This is not the kind of hypothetical discussion we would allow in Moleville.

So before there was no threat of violence, but yet now my life depends on guessing it right, even though the gun holder already has the answer.
And before, the question was to give my "honest opinion", but now I have to say just "yes" or "no".

If "drugs" means "WADA banned drugs", and "in any way" just means "faster marathon performance", and I have no option but to say "yes" or "no", I would have to go with the favorable odds and say "no" every time.

I suspect the people who are MOST STRONGLY accusing Assefa of doping also would pound the table that Radcliffe, and all the woman since her who have put 2:15-2:14 performances down, were doping as well.
