The point isnt just that he's heavy. It's that he's jacked and more muscular than 99% of the male population while also being more fit aerobically than 99% of the population. Even with drugs it is impressive because anyone who's lifted seriously knows it can be difficult to gain or maintain muscle while running a lot. Is it cool to be able to run a 13 min 5k? Of course and that's striving for greatness. But it's way fking cooler to be jacked and run a 17 min 5k than be a twig and run a 15 min 5k. Anyone can be really thin and diet and improve their times, very few people can bench 300 pounds and look jacked while putting in substantial mileage and decent times.
You're more formidable as a human in every way when you're strong and muscular. From a societal aspect and from an athletic aspect. Btw i think lifting is boring as sht but reality is reality
