The teams that I have seen showing Joe Piane on their schedule are (some might be Men only and I am sure I missed some): Alabama Charlotte Florida State High Point James Madison Loyola Marymount Michigan State Minnesota Montana State NC State Notre Dame Otterbein Pittsburgh Richmond Santa Clara St Thomas Tulane Washington State Western Michigan Wichita State Youngstown State
On the W side, if all of these teams run all of their runners, which is unlikely, I would expect the top 10 would include: Alabama Doris Lemngole NC State Katelyn Tuohy Alabama Hilda Olemomoi NC State Kelsey Chmiel Notre Dame Olivia Markezich NC State Amaris Tyynismaa NC State Samantha Bush Florida State Alyson Churchill Michigan State Katie Osika Notre Dame Siona Chisholm The next tier would seem to include: NC State Grace Hartman Florida State Elizabeth Funderburk Florida State Agnes McTighe NC State Brooke Rauber Notre Dame Ericka VanderLende Notre Dame Andrea Markezich Notre Dame Grace Schager NC State Gionna Quarzo Notre Dame Erin Strzelecki
NC State Mariah Howlett
Will Leah Stephens of NC State run Unattached again? How many of Tuohy, Chmiel, Tyynismaa run? To me the key info to be garnered would be where Churchill, Osika, and the Notre Dame runners place amidst the NC St runners (or vice versa). Churchill and Osika have already raced several times. But will MSU run their top runners in back to back weeks? Osika just placed 12th in Virginia behind NAU's 3rd runner.
My predix for men: 1. V Kiprop, Alabama

oof not very high on NC state men's team i take it.
Just being pissy because I was a Notre Dame Cross Country Capt. back in the day so still follow them pretty closely. In their last meet, Vincent Mauri was Notre Dame's 9th man - and Carter Solomon and Ethan Coleman didn't even run. Sure he is adjusting to the new school and training. He's a good runner. But Mauri won't be their first man. Their first three will be Solomon. Methner and Coleman... in some order. Man, the meet has really fallen off the last 5 years. It used to be one of the great early meets with about 15 teams that would go to Nationals. Now, about 5-7 of these teams will go to Nationals. Everyone is going to other meets now.

The hosts of the NCAA championship now seem to be hosting both a mid October "Pre Nats' meet but also a mid September meet - so a lot of teams opt for the latter and also run the big Nuttycombe in October.
With UC Davis here will learn something (maybe?) about how their top runners (who went 2/3 at Dellinger) stack up against more runners, and hence maybe something more about BYU.
Also, I should have noted my "top 25" is focused on runners on teams I expect to make Nationals as that is what I am really trying to project. So there could also be a place in the list for Phoebe Anderson of Columbia and Maatoug of Duke for example.
Southern Utah in the entries. Did they get a new coach? They are nowhere in the rankings anymore, did half of their team quit?
This also might be the worst year for Notre dame in YEARS on the men’s side…we’ll be lucky to see 3 teams make it to nationals, one of them will be Alabama just because of their top guys.
Is NC state really holding out that many top women? They’ll probably still win, granted.
Notre dame appears to be no longer prestigious…am I in a different dimension?

So Notre Dame men will take 5/14 and 6/16 places? Doubtful.
