I think you can’t do math. The pay was 80,000 not including of bonus etc. He got more then the other two assistants before him because he asked to get 80,000
Are you happy to be infatuated with Sean Brosnan. I hope your a teenager and not a grown adult
What math are you talking about? He worked from August 1 to Dec 31. $80k would have meant his pay was $33,333, not $23,333. There were no bonuses. The dude made $56k, while the previous coach made more. HAHAHAHA He really asked to be paid less than the previous coach.
You can’t read or understand California pay. Or know how to find it. Besides the fact you don’t know when that contact started. You’re also looking at subtracted pay. His contract is public online and it says $80,000 annual salary. That 80,000 has no bonuses etc

Where is his contract public? Show a link.
We do know when his contract started. They made the announcement on August 1st, so it was at latest that date. It's conceivable that his contract started before they made the announcement, but that would just lower his annual salary if that was the case.
I'm not looking at subtracted pay. His TOTAL pay was $23,333 and he made a whopping $829 in benefits, making his total pay plus benefits $24,162.
Here is the link again to his actual pay, published by the university.

You can’t do your own math. If you are saying August 1st to December 31st, that’s 4 months correct ? And there is 12 months in a year correct ? That would be 3x 23,333 and that’s $70,000. Nothing says 56,000. You also don’t know when his contract started. You’re just seeing 2022 only. You are also looking at what they call subtracted pay. All that being said his contracted online that is public is saying 80,000. So it looks like $80k is the flat salary without extras and bonus. That’s normal for a school that doesn’t care about track.
Luckily now with Brosnan out of the way, they can pay a glorified intern in exposure and free football tickets to coach the team.
Then they can dump those extra pennies they saved into another administrators wallet.
They actual saved extra pennies when they fired the more expensive coach (Devin at $63k) and hired the cheaper coach (Brosnan at $56k). I bet the new coach gets paid more than the master negotiator (Brosnan).

California doesn’t include Dec, it ends Dec 1st
it’s looks like the pay was at least 70k , but again we don’t know when it started . It could be September 1st to Dec 1st

OMG are you impaired?!?!
Read your post again. August, September, October, November, December. THAT IS 5 MONTHS!!!!!
Where are you seeing anything about subtracted pay and what is that anyway? Total pay is total pay and it says $23,333 for 2022. What contract are you referring to that is posted online that says $80k?

What do you mean CA doesn't include December? You are making that up. A year is a year. When you look at 2021 for Devin, it includes his entire year, not minus December. 2022 is 2022, not 2022 minus December. Do you think they add December to 2023?

You think he worked gratis in August after they announced he was hired and he was up at camp with his team?
Let's assume $60K. He was paid a low salary because he had no experience and it showed. He got fired. Shayla Houlihan just left California to go Iowa as an assistant to the assistant and she is earning $90K in an area that is 1/2 as expensive as UCLA. That tells you what Brosnan is worth. He is unemployed.

You think he worked gratis in August after they announced he was hired and he was up at camp with his team?
They don’t report until late August. Most likely his contract started I. September with “fill pay” before that. Happens often. Fill pay won’t be listed on a state website. He also has a contract that’s public listed at 80k and doesn’t say start date. I don’t know how these California websites work with state salaries, but you would have to check a few years after to see a full 12 months listed. They are hard to read live.

If there was “fill pay” it would have been listed. ALL pay is accounted for on transparent California. That is the idea. You can’t hide pay. Whether the school reports in late August or not doesn’t matter. The school would not allow him to coach and take the team to camp if he wasn’t under contract. You said you don’t know how these California websites work; that’s clear. It’s not complicated at all. Every penny a CA employee is paid, is disclosed on transparentcalifornia.com.
Where is this contract online people keep mentioning? Is someone going to share a link?
why do people keep trying to argue he was making 80-100k? and who would even bother to argue that?
it's clear Brosnan is here to lie about himself to make himself look better.
he was receiving under 60k per year and then got fired. FACTS.
You can find all state employees contracts. They are public to see. You’ll see he made much more then 60k . The contract says 80k. You’re looking at part of a year on an websites. That’s not the contract. And why are you so obsessed with Brosnan. It’s now getting creepy you cant let it go.

I assume people are paid according to their contract. He was paid $23,333 for 5 months of work. It is a FACT.

This is correct. If the haters are not smart enough to find the contract then they shouldn’t cry about it. These California websites post the annual salary for a position. For universities, it can be the 9-month contract given the school year. They don’t edit an individual based on their actual tenure or if they left their job early or started at an odd time. They also don’t include the month of December. This would only be a a full 12 months listed if you worked 13 months. if it’s so important learn how to find the actual public contact singed. All state employees contracts are available

Show us the contract!
It is including December. It started at the latest in August. Show me otherwise. It says 2022, not 2022 minus December. You have no actual facts that show something different. Transparentcalifornia.com info is factual. What you're saying is totally made up.

This makes sense without December. You’re not going to sign an odd amount. 4months x$23,333 is exactly $70,000. This is also based on the contract starting Aug 1st. We don’t know the start date. That seems more normal. It’s looks like the worst it can be is $70,000. Unless you want to spend your day online searching though contracts. I’m sure some of you crazy haters will do just that.
