I didn’t agree with all the Covid idiocy and I’m as far from woke as it’s possible to be. However, there are definitely new Covid strains around the Budapest region at the moment. I’m only 2 hours by car away, and lots of people have come down with it recently. My closest coworker is still sick with it (yes, still testing too). She lives just outside Budapest and commutes to our workplace. It’s basically a pretty bad cold that knocks one out for a week or more. If he’s caught this (like many people I know in the past few weeks), then it would mean he wasn’t in top shape tonight and definitely wouldn’t want to start in the 5000m. Bad luck if so.
Hahahaha what a chump. Crybaby! Poor lil guy has himself a cold! Explain why he’d lead in 56 if he feels so poor. Because his ego has obscured reality.
He probably really does have a cold.Overtraining will do that.Apparently he says he also has niggling pelvis and groin injuries hes been dealing with.
You should say sorry to me. Bragagna gave the news that he was skipping the 5k and nobody trusted in what i reported. Tonight Bragagna confirmed the news he gave during the 1500m batteries and now you all come up with that. Probabily he wasn't right regarding the injury but he was right regarding he was skipping the 5k.
You told us he was injured. Not even close to the same as having a cold.

A cold doesn't impact your ability to run fast. There are things to take for the snot. Other than that it just feels bad, but you are still you.
If unpleasantness ruins your 1500, you're in the wrong event, cold or not.
What an idiotic take. lol
I raced with a cold lots of times and did fine.
Only in your mind is there any physical impairment. I can tell you were never a good runner or you'd understand that.

... or you had a terrible coach who didn't make you race through your sniffles and snot.

I am a science denier and don't care about anyone but myself and am uncomfortable with anything new or people who are different than me. However,....
Norwegian broadcasters are here in my hotel. They've denied this.
Hope he is in the 5k.
A win there would do much to erase this 2nd place in the 1500.
I am pulling for him
Both Jakob and Narve will do the 5000m today (Confirmed by the Norwegian team head physician, and Narve’s coach). “ Jakob has not become any worse after the 1500m final yesterday “.
