I did too. But instead Ingebrigtsen seemed to believe he was going to lose coming off the turn, like last year. Kerr was looking really powerful and it seemed like Ingebrigtsen got spooked.
I thought this too. It looked like Kerr was grimacing and giving it everything he had and Jakob just had the look of a defeated man who was content to just cruise it in.

I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt here, as it seems like he’s matured a lot in the last year or two. He comes across as a much more mature person.
Also, didn’t he have a stomach issue in that DMR (or am I mixing him up with someone else?).

Winning an individual title will do light years more for recruiting than an obscure relay that no one outside of college even knows about

Wow. A couple years ago this guy's biggest claim to fame was a podcast with Dave Ribich and a cameo on "The Athlete Special" Now he's a World Champion. Dreams do come true.

Nah it was definitely beating ches as a freshman in the ncaa indoor mile. Which I still say is top 3 for kerr's career so far

I thought the same the second he lined up for the 1500m heats here, he looks leaned out like he’s been marathon training. Probably feels very light and springy with those pounds off.
