That Citius lady is so cringey. I love how these track athletes only show respect to the "journalists" who talk to them like they are their buddies and then snicker and sneer at everyone else. Why are these track athletes so sensitive? They get one millionth of the negative attention of a superstar in a major sport, yet act like everyone is out to get them and scoff at any question that isn't kissing their ass.
The reason why is because Track & Field is the most narcissistic sport. Some reasons for this are:
1. The athletes receive more direct attention from the audience, which is very appealing to narcissists. Narcissists are drawn to the music and acting industries for the same reason.
2. Track & Field athletes don't get beat up like football players and other contact sports. Narcissists dislike the prospect of getting damaged, because they are so precious and such special gifts to the world.
3. Track & Field is an individual sport. Narcissists don't fare well in team sports, though team sports do have some narcissists such as many American Football Quarterbacks (the position which receives the most attention and the least physical damage - see the trend?)
4. Track & Field has the most co-dependent delusional relationships between the athletes and the coaches. Narcissists are highly delusional and love pretending to be much greater than they actually are. A coach and the coach's "star" athletes can create such a delusional world that can last for years.
5. Track & Field athletes get to prance around in outfits that could get them arrested if worn in public in many municipalities. Narcissists love to display their bodies.
6. In Track & Field even mediocre athletes can get press in running magazines about how they are training for the Olympics when they have absolutely no chance - this is most common in distance events and road running (Runner's World, Outside Magazine, etc.) This enhances the appeal of the sport to narcissistic people.
That covers most of it. Would go into more detail about the coach-athlete part but then the mods would delete this. Coach Brooks Johnson has spoken about this subject and he has great insight into the dynamics of coach-athlete relationships.
I find all the pre and post competition Track & Field interviews to be cringey. The dumbest questions are asked. Inappropriate personal questions are asked. I can only watch the first few seconds before turning them off.
receivers are far more narcissistic than QBs. A good qb has to be in tune with and empathetic to everybody. A QB who is a narcissist has to at least convincingly PRETEND to not be one to be successful. If your linemen and receivers are not with you, forget about it.

Tell us you don't watch football without telling us you don't watch football
How did they wrongly pronounce it? I can only get the the correction, and I cant imagine how much different it is possible to say it? I get that she says a bit more "She-Carri", is that it?
https://www.hypeplustv.com/ - Sha'carri Richardson is on top of the world, now that she has just won her first world champion medal after competing in the 2...
This is super overblown. She talked back to a few journalists, big deal. Well within her rights to do so and very much on brand for her (not saying its a bad thing).
Sick of these judgments by people who watch the sport every 4 years.
If I remember correctly, he said something about her outfit, that had some sort of netting, when she competed in NYC a few years back. He said that she looked like a creature that was caught in the East River.

1. There was nothing wrong with JGault's question. I wouldn't even consider her response "Prickly", and if it was then it was deserved. I would hate being reminded of my lowest lows too.
2. Citius tends to play it safe when it comes to interviews. That is ok, and makes easily digestible, very enjoyable content..
3. ...But it also doesn't tell the whole story. Until I see other media outlets willing to ask the questions Letsrun will, LR will remain (at least to me) the center of serious discussion of the sport.
I love citius. I love Kaetlyn and I love real talk with tee. I read and watch all of their content. But do you really think any of them would touch the Huntington Uni doping allegations with a 10 foot stick?
It was the tone in which JGault asked. And the guy has been borderline racist towards her before so yeah if I was her I wouldn't even acknowledge him.

Nothing borderline about JG's or brosjo' racism.
Also, how is that brit still here? I thought that trump was getting rid of all these immigrants from sh-thole countries. Does JG even have a green card?

ok, i've seen JG/brojo's supposed racism brought up a few times in this thread with 0 examples given.
I'm asking this in 100% good faith: can someone show me an example of their racism? I honestly can't remember anything that could be construed this way.
The only thing I do remember is JG talking about the importance of representation in the media and including more black women/other minority journalists in the mixed zone.
