Laura Muir: works hard, runs boldly, has earned championship medals recently, and seems super nice in interviews. It's been fun to follow her!

+1. Always very gutsy runner, not afraid to push it in races - her 5th avenue mile breakway for the win was crazy to watch. And I love how she wasn't deterred by the suicidal opening pace in Eugene and went with Kipyegon and Tsegay.
Galen Rupp.
He lost to Withrow in Footlocker and lost to McDougall in NCAA. He was way behind Choge and Tariku in World Youth and World Junior. His10k AR attempt was upstaged by Solinsky.
But he bounced back every time, steadily improved, and went on to win two Olympic medals and set multiple American records. He made four Olympic teams and six World Championship teams, and finished in the top eight eleven times.
It was quite a journey.
