My spouse got a personal trainer. I tried to convince her that if she got off her fat @$$ and walked instead of coming home to watch tv all evening and put in fewer calories than she was consuming, she could drop the weight. I ultimately determined that paying for a fitness trainer was cheaper than a divorce. So far, she has managed to gain another 4 pounds, while I've dropped 6 pounds lifting, running, and watching what I eat.
Dood, quit being a dick and help her out. She obviously developed poor eating habits, you should work together. I had the same issues with my wife and it was becasue we were roughly eating the same things, and also runnig the same amount. The problem was that our metoabolic rate was different due to the fact that I am a man. I was rail-thin and she was gaining weight. Not a lot, but she wasn't her skinny, runner self. We worked on her intake and she lost the weight, while still eating and enjoying life. Help her out, don't send her to a trainer.
