BBC have just replayed the 100m. I don't think I've ever seen sprinters run in such atrocious conditions. Positively biblical.
10.03 for Hughes...not sure anyone could run faster in those conditions. But I wouldn't trust the wind gauge. I think it said zero but that could be because it drowned.

Heh, something biblical was exactly what I thought. Wind was measured at 0.0 so I suspect the gauge had drowned, same as all the broadcast gear, but 10.03 was hugely impressive in those conditions.
Felt very sorry for the Scottish sprinter in the women's 100m; there was no way they could have stayed adequately warmed up given the race delay.
