Rupp was US champ and won medals, but perhaps that’s not the BTC goal.
it’s weird. And disappointing the group doesn’t have a ‘racing’ or competitive mentality. They sure get pumped for time trials though.

Strikes me as a nice guy with zero confidence. He probably didn't want to take it out hard and lead as he respected his competition too much. Just complete opposite of someone like jakob
