She just outkicked Athing Mu and Cory McGee....as a college freshman. Outstanding turnover. 42.3 last 300, 58.7 last lap
I can't ignore her backstory, which gives me some pause.
But on the pure running front, I had never seen her until tonight, and she's quite impressive. Really strong move when she went to the front, and she looks smooth. I don't think she can win, ultimately, but I think she can make it a pretty solid race.

She has a chance at top 3 this year but the experience of Cory McGee, Sinclaire Johnson, and Hiltz might be too tough to overcome. MacLean is an olympian too.
She has a chance this year, but she has insane upside because she is so young.
Call me old fashioned but I prefer my superstars not to be affiliated with programs/coaches with active lawsuits involving PED allegations.
I thought we all figured this out with NOP, went through it again with Shelburrito, but oh well.
(Also would love to know if HU lawyers or anyone else associated with that program has sent scary legal letters to LetsRun because it's wild that you can point at any random East African and say 2 THE GILLS!! and nothing happens on this site but when something involves a program with multiple ongoing investigations/lawsuits it's just a string of "this post has been deleted).
