Sure Ron DeSanctimonious. The hacks are the right wingers like Clay Travis, who are now business and entertainment experts, taking shots at “woke” companies. Comics are a niche product. They cannot be thought to always lead to blockbusters. All genres have more duds than blockbusters. Disney will be fine and if it isn’t, it certainly does not affect the day to day of my life 🤷🏻

Yep. The dynamic between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark made the MCU. Some of the movies were filler and not that good but we kept watching to follow the main story and to see how Thanos would get the Infinity Stones. Heck, we watched the movies just to get to the end-credit scenes lol.

There really are no interesting characters now. The overarching theme of a 'multiverse' just means nothing matters.

Wandavision, Loki, What If....those were some good shows. Secret Invasion is good so far and has a 'V' vibe to it.

The shows don't make sense. In Wanda Vision, Wanda starts off the show as the villain, but eventually becomes the good guy then when we see her again in Dr Strange, she is the villain again.

Just saying it’s been in the books for decades and the story arcs get pretty wacky at times as different writers give their take on a character.

Sorry lady superheroes make you uncomfortable.

Please. There are some great girl super heroes. Simply copying male super heroes and calling them Lady Thor or She Hulk is stupid. It's stupid in the comics and it's pretty widely despised in the movies. Its just pandering to an audience. Instead they should just make and tell great stories, which they did very well for a decade. Until Disney got their hands on it.

they're not hopeless but they've been consistently bad/mediocre. ever since endgame, they've just been pumping quantity > quality. people are getting fatigued from the Disney+ shows because they are mostly new guys who tell a story but doesn't get integrated into the big movies yet. this buildup is too slow and people are getting too impatient for the final payoff. imo, we need more crossover films than just Avengers films. if we had a bunch of mid level pay off films, people would be more satisfied with what they are seeing than if we just had to wait until the next Avengers film. Multiverse of Madness would've been a mid level pay off film had they used variants of our current superheroes rather than a bunch of other fan favorites that had to die so easily.

Instead of spending the last 4 years gender swapping beloved characters, they should have gotten smaller. No multiverse at all. They should have done new origin stories that were simple, with little to no CGI. Instead they've gone way too big, and most of the films are filmed entirely in a studio. It feels so cheap and lazy.

This is why I liked Eternals. It wasn't overly complicated. It was an origin story of the eternals and introduced a new big bad. But they completely abandoned it, and chose to go the she-hulk and Ms marvel route.

the big bad is Kang. arishem is not a big bad but just a being with a logical purpose. basically a bigger and stronger ultron but not genocidal. anyways, the point i was trying to make is taht they didn't really abandon anything, they are just dragging out the stories so that when the dots do start connecting again, it is in many years from now and people are getting impatient

So you think there is a grand plan. I think the general consensus is that there is clearly no grand plan. And if there is, the big bad can't be Kang.

He Who Remains has wiped out an infinite number of universes. now with him gone, there will eventually be a variant who strives towards that same goal. there hasn't been anyone shown in the MCU that has ever killed on the scale that he has. oh yeah, there is literally a movie called Avengers: Kang Dynasty.

That's my point though. If Ant Man could fight the big bad and beat him, then he isn't a big bad. Variants, multiverse, it's a terrible concept, and like so many others have mentioned, not interesting. This is where Endgame sucked. They should have found a way to straight up beat Thanos. The writing wasn't great. Time travel or multiverses is the greatest cop out to good writing.

Why are people so obsessed with these spandex films?
