Bro he's a high schooler running a 3:37. What kick do you expect him to have? Mantz is a marathoner sure, but he's also 8 years older and an NCAA champion.
It really wasn’t that uneven at all. 42.8 - 59.5 - 58.1 - 57.5.
yeah that's what I was saying. The splits look super even but he looked like a yo-yo out there. I thought Sunday's race was gonna be pretty close, but now it looks like it might be a blowout. Kinda like how tonight's race was, except with Birnbaum in Wisner's place.

Leo could have been the best this year. He had opportunities to make record attempts at 10k, 5k, and 3200/2 miles and he skipped all those distances in order to run a bunch of 1500/800 races. What a strange decision by Leo.

birnbaum has a hamstring strain so he can't spring all-out. he said his sprint at brooks pr 2 mile was his max, and if he went any faster he would of activated his injury.

i absolutely agree. if he beats leo on sunday then i’d happily eat my words. but if not then he’ll always have the excuse that he raced 3 times in 5 days. and at that point we’ll have to wait til they are both in the ncaa to see a true face off. and even then they will still both get wiped by colin sahlman
bruh they all can be considered great. Simeon did fantastic and is running crazy fast times. they all have run vastly different seasons. they all have a bright future in the sport. Birnbaum and burns will do great at Oregon, but that doesn’t mean Lex and Leo can’t do great at Stanford. This class is just crazy talented.
