Federal prosecutors are reportedly bringing charges for “willful retention of national defense information,” per ABC. If convicted, Trump could be disqualified from being able to hold future office. Other charges, also reported by The Guardian, include conspiracy to obstruct justice, making false statements, and corruptly concealing government documents.
Biden did far worse yet nothing happened. Truly a 2 tier justice system
You can’t indict a sitting president. (Assuming you’re talking about Joe not Hunter). He can be impeached and tried in the senate, though. The house is under Republican control… they can go ahead and try if their case is strong enough.

Willfull because trump hid documents and fought the cops for a year, unlike Biden or pence.
Just to summarize: The Trump team twice purported to comply with requests for documents marked as classified — one under subpoena. Despite that, the FBI raid found more than 100 documents with classified markings. The obstruction issue is the big thing.

I have seen less than felony d.u.i. cases strung out for years. It took Merrick Garland too long to prosecute or it took Department of Justice too long to obtain permission from White House to prosecute.

This indictment should be enough for DuhSantis to prevent Trump from appearing on any Florida ballots.

Just to summarize, every president, vice president, and even a Secretary of State since Clinton have pretty much violated the same law. Whether they were nice about it or not is immaterial (it was easy for Biden and Pence to comply when they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar after the raid on Mar-A-Lago). The law should be applied consistently. As for your celebration of the whistle blower being fired, that pretty much violates a number of laws and reinforces the belief that the justice system has been weaponized during the current administration.

Ah. I see. You’ve never heard of ‘obstruction of Justice.’ It’s a serious crime. No one but trump did that. So he’s being charged. Fair enough, right?
