I ran into him at the Portland airport the day after the World Championships. He was bigger than I imagined, not even in my wildest dreams.
You have wild dreams that include Jakob? Please tell us more.
I saw him at euro cross
He was way bigger than anyone else running. He's not huge but over 6 feet broad shoulders skinny waist.
He looks like a soccer player

He is very comparable to Eddie Hall!
“…Larger than life”
He's six feet nine, weighs 320 pounds, and his feet cover the ground that he walks upon.

Braski-sized.
It was hard to see today given the dark colors he was wearing but his size did not look as impressive today
Saw him in Eugene last year at the hotel. He is tall. He actually looked a bit taller than 6’1” in person.
He's 6'1 and 150-155 lbs. Does that answer your question?
He's basically similar measurements as Roger Bannister. Or to get closer, he's the same as Cristiano Ronaldo in height only like 35-40 lbs and about $498 Million less
Bit taller and skinnier than you'd expect from tv
He's definitely smaller when he's further away
i met him once and he's about 10ft5". made the ground shake when he walked away and called me the n-word, which i thought was weird but idk
His hog is impressive. Ask the NB gals
In 2017 I had the chance to meet him in a Gym in my town he was training just before the European Championship under 20 in Grosseto Italy. I was with my daughter she was a fan and she ,maybe from social network, knew he was in town so it just happens that I was running on a treadmill next to Jakob . His father Gjert was with him. I saw him also running training on the road. He was running at 14 km/h so very slow for him , but we must say that treadmill was really bad . and he alternated between bodyweight excercise and treadmill. It was evening so probably second training session of the day. The first thing I noticed is that he doesn t have that typical kenyan runner body type . He's tall . I m 174 cm and he 's a lot taller , sure more than 180 cm. He's got wider pelvis than most other distance runners , and it's like he has very strong hips and so he can deliver a lot of power around hips area. Seeing him now in 2023 I think is reaching perfection in his body shape . I mean he has the upper body very light ( maybe lighter than some years ago ) while he kept all the strength and power in his legs. And so now he's faster than ever in his career .
I saw him back at Aarhus XC WC in 2019 and I actually completely agree that he seems surprisingly big/strong in person. I expected him to be more of a thin, light scandinavian, but instead of an easy floating person running past me it more seemed like an extremely powerful one.
He walked past me at the parking lot afterwards and even though I'm 185 cm and weigh 20 kilos more, I wouldn't want to end up in a fight with him. I think one gets the sense that he is incredibly strong when you see him in person
He was smaller as a child.

Which is exactly the reason for the question. The old 'the camera adds x pounds'.
The reason being that the camera is 2d, which adds some apparent wt (can't directly see the curvature so your eye thinks things are flatter than they really are), and this is amplified by long focal length lenses, which are what is going to be used in filming the races.
Jakob has proven that East Africans only win through doping. Not just because he whips their butts, but because he is a completely different phenotype. All the 'East Africans are dominant because their calf to wrist ratio is so and so' and all the other tosh about aerodynamic skulls and such. East Africans have no physical advantage other then low obesity rates, which is cultural and environmental not genetic.
