That's not true. There are plenty of meets where high school runners and college/pro runners compete, but in different races.
Thats whats wacky about it. They basically twisted the rule just to spite the Youngs.

No, they didn't. You're just very confused about what the CIF rules actually are.
A California high school runner CAN run in the same MEET as pro runners, they just can't run in the same RACE.

So why doesn't the family file a lawsuit against the commission?

Lex and Leo don't want to run in high school races. So why in the world would they sue to get something they don't want?
I couldn’t agree with you more!!!!
Then why even have a post about the kids. Quite few kids don't compete for their school team and do just fine. I have a few athletes that don't compete for their school and will be D1 athletes next year.
