No tights half or full length, should be worn by males if they don't have shorts over them. I have and will never run in just tights.

If you are male and don't wear shorts over your tights you are a weirdo. Full stop. No debate.

Only passive beta males wear tights. Makes you look like someone else said, a ballet dancer and we all know about them. Real men wear sweats, wind/rain pants, or something like Ron Hill type of pants.

I agree that shirtless with half tights is no go. And I agree that tucking on singlet to half tights is icky.

Another terrible one you'll see in HS is boxer briefs pouring out under split shorts. Dude! It has the internet -- "It's the inner netting they invented to line swim trunks. It provides a comforting snugness." Who knows that quote?

Wearing shorts over tights is the perfect definition of a hobby jogger. I can't think of anything more hobby jogger than that. Ah yes an xc skier with shorts over tights.

End of thread. Shorts over tights or short over half tights for dudes is the most ridiculous, embarrassing look in distance running. If forced to choose, I'd run in basketball shorts over this look.
