This guy is a local runner here in the Charlotte NC area. No one here for a minute thought his “BQ” was legit. He went dark for awhile and waited for the storm to die down only to reappear as if nothing happened and then posted he dropped out due to hypothermia but still got a “participation” medal. He has gone social media dark again after this latest backlash. He is a fraud and his lack of integrity/respect for the running community is disgusting
Say his name. Say his name, goddamn you.

As someone pointed out, his splits through halfway suggest a not abnormal slowing down on the Boston course. Is the guy capable of a 1:48 half?
I hate the cheating as much as the next guy but how is it his fault others didn't get their medals. I'm not a huge fan of finisher medals and could take them or leave them but they are a big deal for some. For what you pay to enter Boston they should have enough medals for everyone. Seems like race management tried to cut corners and guessed wrong about how many runners would make it to the finish line.

Where's that thread about the fastest 3:00 marathoner?
Asking who is the fastest 3:00 marathoner? Is this one of those unanswerable questions like "if a tree falls in the forest" or "one hand clapping"? Or are we looking for the person who ran 3:00:00.00?

"MOONCHILD" ... er, no wait, wrong thing.
This guy obviously sucks for a whole number of reasons, but they should've had as many medals as they had participants, no? That's not on him

This is a disease with no known cure!! I have to shake my head every time one (or all) of my kids on our club team goes home without a medal because they --ordered them late, didnt keep track of events and places, or didnt have enough!! Apparently it happens in the Boston Marathon too. I like consistency. I will now direct all my anger against the meet directors who order 50 cent medals with no ribbon.

Some people take two medals.

He is a lightweight and completely sane compared to some of the all stars on marathon investigation website. I think the worst guy is the one who made a patch for himself claiming to be on Seniors Olympics team or something. And then there is the doctor who rode the bike. This guy is not even trying that hard.
He cheated yep
Remember when this guy posted here about running London with fake bibs? Even posted photos before he did it. Anyone know if he was ever cauight?
He's given me the idea on how to move up from my hobby jogging status. JK
