Anyone have any stories where you were running and regretted having hot sauce prior to your run? Maybe something came out the back end?
Someone posted earlier about sh*tting his pants after having some blazing wings in his neighbors front yard while they were drinking coffee. Anyone know why the admins keep deleting? I thought it was a really nice story.
Nobody has mentioned any sauce with real heat. Dave's Gourmet Ghost Pepper sauce tastes good and packs a serious heat punch. Sprinkle some drops of it in your favorite mild sauce and you good to go.
We grow jalepenos, let them ripen to red. Smoke them, dehydrate them, cook them with some tomato sauce and vinegar, salt, and a tad dark chocolate. Most delicious chipotle hot sauce ever! Otherwise tobasco chipotle is pretty good.
Secret Aardvark has some great sauces. The Habanero one is great. I used to be really into the outrageously spicy ones but I've been toning it down lately.
Nothing wrong with Cholula either. Classic or the green one.
This sounds good. I have made my own before with some habanero, garlic and fruit. Fermentation is the key to a complex flavor. I've never grown my own peppers though.
I have Franks in my fridge right now. I don’t know why it is still there. It should be in the garbage.
I have to agree when used in a common way with day-to-day foods. But, when preparing wings, the standard frank's is hard to beat, which is what is was made for. I don't understand using wing sauce on non-wings though, because it has so many additives like butter. Give me a no-frills option like tabasco over frank's any day when dealing with common foods.

I agree. I'd like to get myself an oak cask and try using a fresh pepper mash. I've only jarred a vinegar based home-made sauce and that was nice. I love a good home made sauce.

When I have to choose a thicker sauce like cholula, I tend to lean towards el Yucatecca. It is excellente.
Anyone ever sh*t their pants during a run due to a high level of hot sauce input? If anyone wants to hear the story, they had to call in a street sweeper one morning...
As you all know, it is lunch time. I'm currently scarfing down some Melinda's Bhut Jolokia Ghost Pepper sauce. It summons the demons from hell and showers angel breath at the same time. A real f*#$ing delight.
