Nick Symmonds did a video a year or more ago about which records he thought were clean. His comment was "If I can run 1:42 clean then I think Rudisha can run 1:40 clean." Looking at Symmonds physique in the race and his swash-buckling running style in 1:42 is pretty incredible even if doped. Although I have no idea if Rudisha was clean, I would say it is very plausible to for that one to not be doped.

This is actually a GREAT point. I think Symmonds is someone I’d be 95% sure was clean in the sport. Someone willing to back out of world champs when he’s in medal shape because he feels World Athletics wasnt running things fairly doesn’t strike me as the kind of person that would cheat for a medal.
Exactly. His father ran a 44.7 400m relay leg for silver (admittedly at altitude, but still). He has the genetics
The 1968 Kenyan team was more suspicious than the current crop. The entire team was underperforming that summer, including Rudisha snr, until their European sports scientist manager Keino they had sacked (for 'taking all the credit'), was suddenly brought back at the last moment.

Do you wake up in the morning thinking "aaaah what a great day to hate on Kenya Athletics again"?

No. Perhaps think 'aaaah what a great day to save athletics again'.
Strange how you don't comment on somebody like RekRunner, who has posted over 2,000 words a day defending doping and peds here for the last 15 years, a total of at least 10 million words (the Bible contains 800,000 words).

Pretty confident, the guy was a generational talent to say the least, truly naturally gifted and built to do exactly what he did. Just because his lessers could've been doping doesn't mean he did too, yes I think he's just that much more talented.
I was around 15 years old when the London 800 took place. I still remember thinking that there simply could not be a more perfect human for the event than Rudisha — every single thing about how he ran was just…poetry in motion. He was very clearly just the perfect half miler in every single way.
Not saying this makes him clean. But of all the men’s world record holders, he’s the one who’d surprise me the most to get busted for doping.
Lol. Generational talent, natural genetics, there is a chance, etc. The sjws are out in force protecting their narrative.
Meanwhile, we all know he was doped to the gills. Cheater extraordinaire
I still can't picture a more perfect physique for the 800m than rudisha. Combine that with his dad's genetics I think it's possible. His rather abrupt career end will always be a bit of a concern for me. Like if he got away with it and decided not to risk his legacy. I'm still leaning towards clean though.
I think he was probably dirty, but only because I believe the sport as a whole is rife with doping. All the comments about his physique and being built for the event are things we were saying about Kiprop several years ago. You can have all the natural talent in the world and still be a doper.
FWIW, nothing against Rudisha at all, doping or not.

I'd say it's slightly different than Kiprop, who looks like an alien and almost too tall and skinny for middle distance. Rudisha, Mu, Hodgkinson and Coe are kind of the images I have in my head when you think what the prototypical 800m runner looks like. Lean, wiry, but strong.
Let me say this: If Rudisha was doping, then everybody who has made an Olympic Final in the last 20 years is also doping.
That said, I do not think Rudisha was a doper. Supreme talent, progressed rapidly at a young age, perfect form. Then, once he had injuries, he never “bounced back” and was out of the sport by 30. Late career progression or big comebacks from injuries are my red flags, and Rudisha didn’t have either.
