I think 3rd and 4th were in there to ensure there were enough finishers for it to count as a race. The 600 was put on at the last minute when Hodgkinson requested it. The organiser wasn't going to turn down the opportunity to have one of the UKs best athletes at an otherwise C-grade meet. This was a pure TT for Keely because she felt like she could get the record.
Look out for the pacer, Issie Boffey, this year. She ran 2:00 last year and should break 2 outdoors.
Boffey ran great, winning the 800 in 2:02 with a 59 second 400, then pacing Keely perfectly through 54 in the 600.
