So the two of you disagree, but do you need to address him in a demeaning manner? When people use the phrase "buddy" to address someone in both a demeaning, but also antagonizing manner, I automatically lose respect for them. Of course, I realize that I am dealing with someone who is also ridiculing a patron of their own business, so I guess I shouldn't have expected more.
